Bir ecosystem convened the country’s technology community at “DevDay 2025” on October 11, 2025, creating a premier platform to discuss future technologies, innovation trends, and emerging business opportunities.
The event featured 16 local and international speakers covering critical technology domains, including IT Business Analytics, QA, and DevOps. The diverse speaker lineup provided participants with practical insights and exposure to multiple technological perspectives, reinforcing the platform’s impact on national knowledge-sharing.
Originating as an internal initiative, the journey of “DevDay 2025” highlights the Bir ecosystem's rapid growth. Initially designed to bring together experts from Birbank and professionals from other Bir brands (such as m10 and Birmarket) to exchange best practices, the successful internal format has now expanded. Today, it has evolved into DevDay.az—a platform open to the entire national technology community.
Highlighting the significance of this evolution, Farid Huseynov, Chairman of the Management Board of Kapital Bank, shared the following on social media:
“When we launched the #TechDays initiative a year ago, our goal was to bring together engineers from different brands within the Bir ecosystem (Birbank, PashaPay, Birmarket) and create an environment for experience sharing. Today, that environment has evolved into DevDay.az—a platform open to the entire technology community. Once again, I am convinced that the Bir ecosystem has become an integral part of our country’s technological future, and we are shaping a new technology culture. Bir ecosystem unites the country’s leading brands, Birbank, Birmarket, m10 and MilliÖn, under one umbrella. At the same time, the ecosystem collaborates with joint ventures such as Trendyol Azerbaijan and BakıKart, expanding its reach and enhancing the customer experience. Thanks to this integration, customers benefit from QR payments in partner networks and public transport, credit shopping on Birmarket via Birbank, installment payments on Trendyol Azerbaijan using Birbank cards, a unified bonus program and many other solutions. All these services are built on four core pillars of the ecosystem: Unified login, Unified bonus, Unified payment and Unified credit platform, which deliver fast, convenient, cost-effective and secure services to customers.
